Back for week three of my “Tops Two Ways” and I’m soo excited to share these looks because I’m kind of obsessed with this top. It’s not only super comfy, but it’s totally on trend in animal print and it’s majorly budget-friendly! The 90’s-esque stripes down the sleeves give it that extra pop too. So here’s how I dressed it up and dressed it down:
The first look is perfect for travel and running around town on the weekends – I could literally live in this comfy look & I already know it’s going to be one of my go-to travel outfits. My fav black joggers and a pair of slip-on Converses give it a majorly cool look. I knotted the front of the top as it’s kind of a flowy fit naturally and I wanted to pull it together a little more. Since these joggers are high waisted, it’s perfect and doesn’t show too much skin even though I’m tall. I’m 5’10” and bought this top in a small. I tried the medium on too, but it was just too baggy on me and looked a little sloppy and didn’t even add much length, so if you are on the fence on sizing, hopefully that helps! Sunnies, my favorite simple stud earrings & a chic bag top off this look.
The second way I wore this is perfect for a date night or girls night out somewhere trendy or not too too fancy. Ripped jeans and sexy stilettos add some edge and some class all at the same time. I love these high waisted jeans so much. They were the first super high rise jeans I ever found that worked for someone as tall as me and I really liked the unfinished ankle edge. They are also super stretchy so feel insanely comfortable on! I knotted the top again because I’m loving that look, but I’ve also worn this top just tucked into high waisted jeans or joggers if the knot isn’t your thing.
Black pumps are a closet staple, and the fun, kind of scalloped edge detail on these give them a little something extra to make them stand out. And surprisingly this pair is comfy! I wore them all night the other night and to work all day last week and didn’t have any toe woes! Again, I added a great pair of sunnies & my favorite black crossbody {see more details on it & the link in week one of “Tops Two Ways” post here!}. Statement tassel earrings pair perfectly with the stilettos to bring this outfit together in one stunning look!
