Spring is the Best Time to Buy Winter Coats

So I know nooobody wants to see pictures of coats right now. Believe me, I’m with you! I told my coworker last week I was swearing off coats now that it’s spring lol. BUT considering that it was below freezing here in NJ this morning, we aren’t quite done with them yet sadly. Also, more importantly, NOW is the time of year to buy coats. Why? Because they’re on sale! This transitional season is right when companies try to empty their inventories, even of staple styles that they carry year over year, to make room for spring & summer styles so prices are likely the lowest you will find.

Here are some of my favorite coats that were all great investments. The first two are wool coats from Mango. I will say though, when I was in the store trying on coats, I literally tried on about 8 and wanted every single one of them lol. A good coat that is warm and stylish at the same time is always worth the investment. And Mango is very well-priced overall. Mango is a Spanish-based company, which means if you’re traveling to Spain or elsewhere in Europe and you shop in a Mango, it will likely be cheaper than in the US! I actually had been eyeing one of these coats for a while and had it saved on my phone, and during a business trip in Germany, I walked past a Mango and thought “I bet that coat will be cheaper here” and sure enough, it was! Drastically cheaper actually! So just a great tip for any time you travel, if you aren’t already aware, always shop more local companies or local specialties and you will get deals! This cream fuzzy coat is more of a layer I would say {I’ve worn it underneath of the last one below} but it’s definitely still very warm, just maybe not for the dead of winter. Perfect for shoulder seasons like right now!
