Gucci GG Marmont Small Shoulder Bag Review

It’s no secret that I have a big appreciation for quality designer products like this Gucci GG Marmont Small Shoulder Bag, but when it comes to actually making an investment in designer items myself, there are a couple categories where I really feel it is worth it.

Designer handbags for example is a category where your investment is really going to hold its value {speaking from my role working for The RealReal}. A lot of designer handbags, including Gucci handbags, can resell for very close to what they were originally purchased for if kept in good condition or even more than purchase price!

So if you are looking to make an investment in designer, I definitely recommend the handbag category because handbags are:
1. useful
2. statement pieces that really amplify your outfits and
3. retain their value well

With that being said, one of the reasons I invested in this particular Gucci GG Marmont bag is because it is such a classic style and colorway that I see myself using it forever. 🙂

Why I Love The Gucci GG Marmont Small Shoulder Bag

• Classic Style & Colorway – this vintage inspired quilted GG canvas will always look classy and be in style and the mix of brown and black make this bag match with practically everything.
• Leather & Chainlink Strap – having a leather and chainlink really elevates the style to make it a little more high end looking but still casual enough with the leather to wear for everyday use. If it was full leather it would be a little plain, and if it was full chainlink it would be too fancy & easily fall off or irritate the shoulder with everyday use.
• Gold Hardware – I’m a big fan of gold over silver so I love the gold GG and gold chainlink strap on this bag.
• Adjustable Strap – always a plus!
• Perfect Size – I can fit SO much in this bag despite it not being overly bulky so I find it truly perfect for every day or special occasions.
• Sturdy – this bag is definitely quality and made to last. The pattern and dark colors also will help it to hide any stains or wear should that happen.
• Versatile – though termed a shoulder bag, I really love also wearing this bag crossbody {as you can tell lol}. It’s really easy to spin around and access what I need to when worn crossbody as well.
• Tassel Zipper Pull – this may be a silly point, but I like to describe my style as “Boho Chic” and the tassel on the zipper pull of this bag is not only convenient for opening the bag quickly and easily, but it gives the bag a tiny bit of a boho feel to me so is a perfect fit for my style.
