Neon is everywhere these days! I have to say, I may have been slightly slow to come around to this trend as I usually wear more vintage or washed looking hues or neutrals. But the more I see neon in the stores, the more I want to wear it! Since you guys voted on my stories that you want a post on neons, here it is!

Tips for How to Wear Neon

To tone down the look: pair neons with neutrals like brown and tan.
If you really want to pop and stand out: pair neons with neutrals like white & black.
Invest in neon pieces that are classic silhouettes & styles {like this dress pictured} for a more subtle way to stand out in the trend.
Start small with accessories, like a neon bag, belt, hair accessory, or jewelry if you’re not ready to dive head on into the trend or don’t want to invest too much in what may be a passing fad.
Don’t be afraid to mix neons – they all go together so wearing a neon pink dress with a neon yellow hair scarf for example totally goes!
Rock neon workout wear – bright workout clothes has always been common so you won’t stand out quite as much as you ease into the trend PLUS it totally helps motivate you more when you wear fun colors!
