Visit Santa at The Mall at Short Hills

Luca met Santa! We took Luca to visit Santa for the first time this year, and we had the best experience! The Mall at Short Hills has such an amazing Santa setup. They call it Santa’s Flight Academy, and it’s way more than just seeing Santa. There are a bunch of interactive experiences for kids to explore including a real life snow globe and a flight suit simulator. Luca had a ball, and I definitely think this is the best place to visit Santa in New Jersey!

On top of all of the fun things to do and many photo ops in their beautiful setup, Santa was amazing and so was the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating, it truly made the experience even better. Let’s be real, when you are doing any sort of organized activity with a toddler or young child, anything that can relieve stress is appreciated! Bravo to the Mall at Short Hills for hiring an amazing team for their Santa experience!

We were very happy to hear that Santa was vaccinated as well, as that was important for us. They also recommend everyone wear masks while in line waiting to see Santa. We got lucky, and there was no line when we went so we got right in. We even got extra time with Santa since it wasn’t busy. Being a family that has been very cautious throughout Covid, we were really happy to feel safe inside of the Santa’s Flight Academy. Marc and I even took our masks off inside to enjoy playing with Luca a bit.

As it gets closer to Christmas, it may start to get busier to visit Santa at the Mall at Short Hills. You you can reserve a time slot in advance here. You can use code 851359 to receive $5 off photo Package A through December 15th as well! If you don’t reserve in advance, there is a standby line you can go in also, but reservations are definitely recommended for the best experience.
